When you choose Cloud transcription, your audio goes straight from your device to our secure transcription partner — processed and dropped, never stored. Dragon Notes servers never see your audio.

Speaker recognition, when you turn it on, keeps voiceprints encrypted in the iOS Keychain and excluded from iCloud backup. Transcripts and notes sync to your account, encrypted at rest, so you can pick up where you left off on another device.
